Tender Loving Care Education Center is license by the New York State Department of Education. Our instruction that equips and prepares our Students to meet all of the requirements necessary to become licensed in Cosmetology. The center will provide each Student with the training and expertise he or she will need to pursue a reward career in Cosmetology.
The Center maintains a staff of qualified instructors who possess years of experience as practitioners of Cosmetology with knowledge of all current and up-to-date Cosmetology and methods. All Faculty members are required by state regulations to maintain teacher license as issued by The New York State Education Department.
The Center is located at 35-30 Union Street #3FL, Flushing NY 11354. The Center also has the latest equipment and supplies.
Admission Requirement.
The Center admits as regular students person beyond the age of compulsory school attending in New York (16). This means the Student must possess a high school graduation diploma, a General Education Development (GED) Certificate.
The Center in its admission, instruction and graduation polices, practices no discrimination on the basis of race, creed, sex, age, religion, financial status, or national origin or residence. No qualified handicapped person is excluded from enrolling in a course of instruction by reason of his/her handicap. However, the programs require a high level of manual dexterity and coordination.
Admission Procedures
▪ Student must first complete and submit the Preliminary Application Form. This form does not obligate the Student to enroll or make payments.
▪ If the Student is accepted by the Center and wish to enroll, the Student must complete and submit the Enrollment Agreement Form, pay the $100.00 non-refundable registration fee, tuition, cost of books and supplies. Payment plans can be arranged if student is unable to pay all necessary fees initially.
▪ Students may commence attending classes on the enrollment dates listed in this catalog.
